A Song of Hope for the Heartbreak in Texas
In memory of those lost in the devastating Texas Hill Country flood, and in honor of the families left behind, we share this moving tribute.
Written by Thad Cockrell, who was once a summer camp counselor to our producer Luke Coffee, the song was inspired by the tragedy that struck the Lone Star State this 4th of July.
As members of this community, this heartbreak hits close to home. It’s a message for the grieving—those facing unthinkable loss—and a reminder that even in sorrow, light can still break through.
